English Language Challenges

Dear Colleagues, I hope that you are all very well and that your families are in good health.

For me, learning English has been a bit difficult because it has always been difficult for me since school, but I have tried to learn as much as possible and I think I have advanced more than I thought, in our university we have a great quality of teachers, they are very good and They help us a lot, I have had a very good experience and I think that helps a lot for the students who find it more difficult, when the teachers are closer it helps to have more confidence in oneself.

On the other hand, blogs have helped me to expand my knowledge of vocabulary and to be able to handle other things, such as focusing on a specific topic.

What is most difficult for me is listening and understanding because sometimes words have a special pronunciation and each person can say it differently, that costs me a lot, on the contrary, when reading I can understand much more, it is all clearer for me I can translate in my head that is not difficult for me.

I have been able to use English on trips abroad that I have been able to make, I have had very funny anecdotes, but by handling the language I have been able to get out of many difficulties, really for artists it is a tool that we cannot miss, it is spoken all over the world English and there is no excuse not to learn it is completely necessary for everyone, I think that if we want to pursue a career abroad we need to handle this language perfectly because if we do not handle it we will be far from achieving what we want.

Hello everyone I hope you are very well

I think that our study program is well thought out but perhaps not focused on our projection as trainers of other musicians.

For example, we manage more clear concepts of our instruments in order to better help new musicians.

It should focus on being able to form festivals and concert season in which we could have in different regions to have a little experience of touring and all that.

I have had the opportunity to travel and in Europe music is lived like this, art is more alive than in our country here in South America.

I think there is a lack of better spaces to be able to practice in a decent way in our faculty, it is very difficult to find a good place to be able to be calm and concentrated.

We need to improve our hours that we dedicate as interpreters, many times we have a lot of subjects that may not be so necessary, as a musician I need many hours of study to be at a competitive level and be able to live from this.

I think teachers need to guide us to be able to send a message through what we are doing and not only be able to interpret but to transmit something beyond what we can see.

Maybe in the future everything will be better and we can enjoy what we do better.

My Pet

My pet's name is cappuccino. He came to my life in 2010 when I lived with my parents. It was always fun to live with him and I played a lot with him. The only bad thing was that he used to get easily angry and reacted violently sometimes, biting me quite hard.

He came to our house because my grandmother gave it to my dad after her dog had a lot of little puppies. My dog was always very gifted but malgenated. That made it very special for me, because I felt I had a special personality she always  liked.

He always enjoyed hearing me play the guitar, and always settled very well and slept peacefully when I practiced in my room. Today I live away from him since I have my own family. But every time I go to my parent's we get very happy to see each other once more. Recently, he was the father of some cute puppies and my parents gave one to my son. The puppy is very special and I would say that his personality is similar to that of my cappuccino dog.

Maybe he doesn't have much left to live anymore, but he's been a part of my family and I think he going
to be missed a great deal whenever he departs from this world.
